Quoted from mbrave77:man I wish my wife were into pinball. Congrats! My wife hates it and doesnt understand why I need more than one 9 thousand dollar toy!
The only way this works is with a wife that is fully on board. It's always been our escape room. Now more than ever. She's picked out the last several games. She married me, but has great taste in pins.
Quoted from PinMonk:It was in a "progress" post in this thread a week or so ago. It's not quite done yet. I was just posting what it looks like since it's turning out pretty rad. Should be in the pinmonk store in a few weeks.

Just to give you an idea, this is the kind of time-consuming iterating I'm doing to find the final design. This is a version that came after the initial post with heavy green frames and a heavy green outline around the whole bracket. I think it's too much green that conflicts with the weapons, so I'm making one without the green frames around the selection windows and just having a green frame around the whole bracket. That one will likely be the final look, but I haven't printed it yet.

Thanks dude. I'll keep checking back.
Quoted from gumnut01:Anyone concerned about the dome heads on the ramp screws near the ramp flaps? I can't work out why they didn't use small counter sunk screws like all other games have...
I know the sprung steel seems to be higher than the screw heads, but wondering if I should swap them out.
Edit: so I replaced one. The countersunk certainly sit better. Don’t know why stern aren’t using them.

Changing out the screws certainly won't harm anything, but there's no way the ball could ever run over the screw heads. The diameter of the ball is large enough to keep the contact point of the ball from getting that close to the ramp wall.
Quoted from Jediturtle:Left outlane complaints are overblown. Yes it's a bit of a mean game, but not at all unfair. I'd have to check my audits, but the left does not stand out to me as being much worse than right or center.
I expected the audit to reveal a heavy bias to the left outlane, but that's not the case. I do believe all the straight down the middle drains during multiballs skews the numbers enough to hide the left outlane impact. The amount of multidrains during multiballs are like no other pin I've ever played. There's just not much empty playfield space for an 8 ball multiball. Damn near impossible to get a clean shot during multiball. It is forcing me to try and slow things down and try to cradle 2 balls and shot with the third. That's my best chance to score during multiballs. Otherwise, if I try to keep all my balls alive I end up flailing to keep them alive and don't make any shots. This game is forcing me to alter my methods and I'll be a better player for it.
