Pro version NIB arrived !
kids and wife loves it, especially the coop mode.
Damn, it's fast paced game. ramps are really blazing, some air balls or ball leaving the rail or going above the opto..
And a couple of time, i got 2 balls served in the launcher, common issue ?
Otherwise, seems really a good packed game, with a lot to do.

#1338 3 years ago

That's indeed a great idea. I'm not sure yet where airballs are coming from. Blazing too fast
I need to see when I'm not playing.
I thought it was often more in the upper part.

#1351 3 years ago
Quoted from djWHEAT:

This happened often on 1.04, but since upgrading to 1.10 I haven't seen it happen yet. Unsure if related, just an observation.

Agree, I did not notice it since upgrade

#1399 3 years ago

Is it us or this game is damn nasty?
Outlanes are still on higher but stdm and Outlanes are really hungry!!

#1407 3 years ago

I've raised the pitch and the power of the slingshot. That's a bit better as I have a bit of space to save the ball with nudging
But man, that's not easy to keep the ball!

#1460 3 years ago

Lighting is great IMHO, the apron's spots are doing a great job.

About pitch and flow, I have seen a lot of people complaining about the difficulty, especially the draining.
The game is fast, and outlanes are hungry. Plus SDTM from lock rail is happening too often.

On my side, I agree that slingshots seems to be tunes to target outlanes at defaults. Two options, make them stronger (>55) or really weaker (a friend of mine sets at 15)
Flippers tuned at soft (only bottom flippers) made me more constant on shots, and less airballs.
Two shots are still killers : the right target of left ramp and the left post of right ramp. These two are my enemies..

The game is so great when you manage to combo and flow, but can kill the whole pleasure in 5sec, without any way to avoid the drain..

Overall, it's still hard to love it , but I really like it a lot, so I will still try to set it right in order to get pleasure, and not only frustration

#1496 3 years ago

it appers on my Pro that the bottom part of the pizza is a bit lower than the circle surrounding it, ball is a bit deflected to the left when ball is going down from the x2 target.
Same for other ? I'm just considering it may lead to some wear on the playfield below the pizza, considering if the pizza can be adjusted completely at the level of the playfield ??

#1502 3 years ago
Quoted from daveyvandy:

I had a similar problem and found that you can completely level the pizza by by loosening two bolts under the playfield and then wiggling the plate around. Can't find the post now, but look back a few pages or check my post history on this thread to see photos.

Thanks

#1598 3 years ago

I finally took some time to open my turtle pro.
I have levelled the pizza, as it was not perfectly aligned. Two bolts are there for that purpose.
That's really better now.
I've also added a piece of mylar to the launch entry as some marks appeared.
Game is fast, brutal but it's getting better.
The only things I did not succeed was to move the post on the right outlane, I was able to remove the bolt, but after that, it was too tight to unscrew from playfield..
I think the pinball is saying to continue my training and not choose the easy way

#1604 3 years ago

Why would they improve something that as no impact on their orders...

#1650 3 years ago

Jjp's quality is maybe the reason of the higher cost...
When I compare my deadpool and turtle to my woz and dialed in, the quality level is no way to discuss... Stern is making disposable toys

#1652 3 years ago

Agree, bad things happens in all manufacturers.

For now, all i can say is that Turtle is a really good shot, but that's by far the most brutal pin in my collection.
I enjoy that, but it's not as family friendly as i was hoping.
The metal bar separating the two left inlanes keeps poping my ball to the outlane, I may end with a small tweak to solve that but not yet sure about the best way..

#1673 3 years ago
Quoted from Rob_G:

I wouldn't call TMNT 'brutal', that is a designation I save for JP because of the tight shots.
I have yet to have an outlane bounce from the lair release. What pitch do you have your game set at?
Rob

I've increased my pitch, around 7.5. That helped a lot for the global flow and did not impact my outlanes drains.

It's getting better eaveryday, but the targets on the left ramps are really nasty. It reminds me a bit of the valinor shot on LOTR. a strong shot at it, and blam, directly in the outlane without any way to nudge..

#1677 3 years ago

Yes, soft flippers is better in my feeling.
On pro, is there a plastic protection over the opto of the center ramp?
Fast shot get airballed there.

I quickly made that. Will see If airballs are absent now.

#1690 3 years ago

Any other users reporting air ball or opto not catching the flying ball in the center ramp?
I'll play during the coming weekend and confirm if that's a good fix.

Thanks for the pu-parts mention.

If I had enough room for a topper, I'd go for this one .
More pics on their FB (https://www.facebook.com/rbflipfrance/) (not sure where the topper is available)

OK, so this is not long enough. I need to put a cover earlier in the ramp, like pu-parts did

#1798 3 years ago

Did you take pics of your pooling star post? Just to see what may happen?

#2036 3 years ago

Lol.. 7:35 is just perfect.
Need this one for our pin

#2063 3 years ago

What protector are planned?
Only shooting lane and drain?
Any area prone to wear??

#2100 3 years ago

Mine seems not so bad

Quoted from nitroman28:

You got some dirty balls.

Yes, cleaning time..

#2171 3 years ago

Post pass is indeed difficult, way more than on deadpool.
Alley pass has a risk that the ball flies out through the in lane to jump directly to the opposite outlane

#2351 3 years ago
Quoted from mummite:

This happens to me also.

Same here and it's boring

Quoted from ABE_FLIPS:

Sorry I do not sell anything. Get yourself some PETG 2mm and a scroll saw, its really not hard to build and a good investment. Draw the shape of the protector on a piece of cardboard first and make sure that metal wire- triggering the switch- can swing freely in both directions. you can shape/bend the PETG with boiling water. Look at the images i posted, good luck!

By any chance, would you have a template with holes, to draw on petg?
That's the painest part.

#3162 3 years ago
Quoted from mbrave77:

Dont think anyome replied to my center ramp issue. Sometimes it doesnt register hitting it. Mainly when hitting it right after the right ramp. Anyone else have this?
What is the mechanism that registers center ramp hits?

#3178 3 years ago
Quoted from Waxx:

I don't have airballs but I'd like to order a a cover anyway. Does someone have or make one in America?

My guess is that ball is flying in the ramp and not captured by the opto. This cover should help.
I made a partial cover which fixed 100% this issue, but mine is a bit too short and does not cover the first part of the curve, so some fast shots are hitting my cover and going back;.

Quoted from daveyvandy:

Here you go my TMNT fans
This is a complete rebuild using Pinball Browser that uses animations from the 1987 TMNT series.
Pro, Premium and LE all available on 1.21.0
Premium and LE are untested as of now, so someone give it a try and let me know how it goes.

Did you compare with the other great mod made by delt31?
Anyone tried both??

#3328 3 years ago
Quoted from cabal:

I tried both. Both have their advantages. But i think delt31 combined now both mods, his music and the graphics from the other image. I haven't tried that one.
In my opinion the original is fine. Modern layout, Modern look. The other 2 took me back to a trip into my childhood. Sound and Graphic wise.
I can not say what image i like best. But it's nice to have different choices for different moods i am in

Thanks !

#3446 3 years ago

Same in the french forum, Avengers reveal just killed the hype.
Yeap, the playfield is fully packed with ramps and so, but music and gfx are ...just flat. no wow effect.
Whereas TMNT is fun, vibrant and party mode !! as Deadpool is too.

Coop is indeed available on the pro.
But also 2 versus 2 ; 1 versus 3
You choose before launching the game with pressing the 2 buttons.

While doing a coop game, all players share the same score and the progression of the missions is also shared.
It's a killer feature for our family. No longer a competition between players, but a collaboration versus the pinball !

#4568 3 years ago

Updated from 1.21 on 1.23 with a pro.
Scoring must have been tweaked as I got a really nice 35 M with a so-so game..

Love this game.
Had a great first ball where everything was just flowing perfectly.
4 missions started and finished, max krang combo and jackopote grande. 48M before the extra ball. what a blast !
But I alsway suck at saving the turtles on Team mode..
We finished at 6 missions greenlighted, but failed just below the 100M bar.
