Quoted from mahony:

Anyone know where this topper comes from? The picture is from a user on reddit.[quoted image]

That logo style is from a more recent reboot of the TMNT series. My guess would be it was from a store display (toy or electronics).
IMHO it is too big and looks out of place being a different font/format, but as long as they are happy with it who cares

#2602 3 years ago

apologies if this has been raised before, but does anyone know where to find decent instruction card images?

#2603 3 years ago

My Foot Clan spinner only registers the last few spins when hitting it.
Is this a common issue?
Any suggestions on fixing this?

#2604 3 years ago
Quoted from poweruser86:

Well, I got my Premium yesterday, build date of 8/12/20 on the back of the cab. I'll check the playfield date later today now that I know where to find it.
Sad to say my art is probably as bad or worse than most of the pics here. The communicator is especially terrible around the Team Up lights. Looks like I lost the lottery unfortunately.

Man, so sorry to hear this... was really hoping at least the premiums were able to doge this but sounds like it a gamble no mater what trim level you get.

Has anyone with a bad play-field actually got an official response back from Stern on the reasoning?

Can someone point me to where you are getting your Shooter Lane Protectors? I know Pinball Universe has some but I'm not sure I want to order from the UK and wait (I'm in the US). I've definitely noticed a little wear in the lane and want to try to get a jump on this.

I think Mezel Modsis a US reseller for Pinball Universe... Cliffys also makes shooter lane protection for TMNT.

I think that's the topper to a newer arcade game by Raw Thrills. It's a massive 4 player game.

I looked around but I didn't see protectors specifically for TMNT. Not sure if I'm just blind or if people are buying a "generic" protector.

Yes I found the listing on Mezel's, but they are out of the TMNT protector.

You have to go to the What's New page on Passionforpinball.com and you'll see the TMNT Pro and Prem/LE in development. He hasn't moved them over to the products page yet so you just have to reach out. I have my set on order already.

Also, for the time being in a home environment, go into settings and crank down the shooter eject power.

I replaced the black hard plastic post protectors with these thinner translucent rubber protectors that I bought for my Alice Cooper. These are about as thin as they make them but I was surprised the black protectors originally were hard plastics. The ball is a lot more forgiving and I’ve got that ramp more often. Definitely has helped with the bricks that drain

Don't know if Stern reads up on these threads for code suggestions but I'd love to see the spinning disc have an only during multiball option. It currently has the option to disable the spinning disc which is nice and removes the random spinning during single ball play, but it does obviously take away the fun multiball start on the pro.

those break in a few hundered games, I have been there

#2623 3 years ago

Man I got to level 4 on training and it feels like I just completed a mini wizard mode. I think a EB and/or a multiball would be a great reward for this. It would feel good and would offer a different path to a high score. The EB’s feel weird on the code, sometimes they pop up like no big deal and other times they just don’t come .

I think those where the pop bumper awards.
You get one by starting your second episode and one for collecting 14 pizza slices between episodes (not during multiballs!)

Quoted from Aquapin:

Started working on my topper. Happy with the initial results, but need bigger figures or ?? (If you have other suggestions please share). If I stick with 4 figures I will likely add 4 individual leds that tap into there corresponding flasher on the PF.
Logo protrudes about 2" and is back-lit in green. The lower section has an RGB so it can be any colour and pulses.
[quoted image]

Definitely has potential. Like the partial manhole cover motif. With larger characters (or even busts) it could be really good.

They're listed under "See what's new" on Cliffys website.

So I've owned my pro for a couple of weeks now and just love it. Code is easy to follow and fun, game flow is fast and not to plug but with my custom code, checks all the boxes with old school tmnt. I haven't had any issues noted in this thread and really enjoying it

Could it be more "loaded" - yes but for the price, I'm really happy with the pro.

I also added Mezel glider. I wanted something to cover the pro nub and although I don't prefer the glider, it did the job. Visually with the light it's nice and although it does obscure the view a little I still did it. Super easy install.

Win column for Stern imo. Looks very nice to my jp2! Good job Stern

Question for the pro owners. How does the turtle van multiball start? I have a friend who is considering a pro or premium and all I know is the what my LE has for features. I know my glider I can divert either way which is awesome for play to get to the proper side and crane is integrated but I thought the van was different for the pro vs prem

Order these but order extras because they will need to be replaced more often with how thin they are. I ordered 20 or so when I did it

Just put up 49mil as Leonardo, my new GC. Focused on getting 2 training levels right away for additional 20% score. That seemed to work plus controlling the ball through 5 modes and both multiballs.

This is why stern need to produce a Spandau ballet pin. Jokes aside but if you can find a theme that resonates it helps. I don’t think Iron Maiden is going to convert many wives.

Can you drop 9k on something she likes to sweeten the deal?

Edit: in something other than pinball that is.

Double Edit: just looked at your games room pic again. You’re doing alright! You must be feeling the love from your wife! Nice lineup, sorry I thought you only had 2, was looking at your Pinside ownership count

Finally got the mechanical mounting, etc worked out for the Turtle Select frame. All the ugly Stern screws and two board spacers underneath go away. Only one tiny black screw is still visible on the face (on the raphael pane).

Oh yea i guess i need to update that. The 4th on the right is a virtual. Id like about 5 real pins. The one theme that i think shes let me get no matter what is harry potter. Come on JK/wb sell someone the license!
