I think Ted Lasso would be an amazing theme for a pin. An updated WCS94 would be amazing. We know Jason Sudekis is a huge pinhead and WoZ was in the show. I think JJP would do a bang up job at this. I haven't seen a show with such universal appeal in a long time (stranger things maybe?).

    What do you guys think?

    who's Ted Lasso ?

If you don't know it's probably not for you. It’s one of the highest rated and awarded television shows of the past few years. You could also just use Google.

    Apple TV exclusive show.

Had no idea Jason Sudekis was into pinball, that's cool.

Great show, but doesn't really seem to be a good fit for a pinball machine in my opinion. Not enough content.

Superlative series! There is an oversaturation of “disaster porn” stuff that portrays the worst of humanity, collapse of civilization, unending existential disasters, corruption, wars, misery, etc., and I for one find it truly refreshing to watch something that doesn’t wallow in the dystopia of our times and instead attempts to be genuinely uplifting and portray the goodness humans are capable of. Is it hopelessly idealistic? Maybe, but that doesn’t change the fact that it offers a great “escape”, and we could all use some “feel good” storylines these days.

All that being said, I don’t see any way to turn it into a compelling pinball machine theme. It just doesn’t feature any of the type of “action” (the soccer/football playing isn’t really the primary focus in and of itself) that would lend itself to something as kinetic as a pinball machine, there’s really nothing there upon which to base a cool, innovative centerpiece mechanism or other “attractions”, and I’m afraid the end result would be about as dull as a “Downton Abbey” pin (another unusually great series that’s totally unfit for pinball)!

There was plenty for stranger things. Matches, building up the stadium, side missions (beards night out, something with Keely, the pub, etc.)

I've never heard of this Guy?

Awesome show. I can't wait for the next season. That being said, I just don't see it translating well into pinball.

For those that haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and checkout a few episodes. You might be pleasantly surprised.

    Nah.

These kind of talky sitcom type shows just don’t work for pinball, which is why it’s never been done before.

I'd prefer a "We're The Millers" pin... I'd have No Ragrets about getting one.
