Anyone found a color in a rattle can that's close to the factory color on these parts (or is it a custom mix)?

Very unique color: such a dark green it almost appears black at first glance.

TIA.

The VUK is plated, or metal finish. Not a paint.

My original mother base is flat black. ( I uncrated my AFM when it was new, so I know it's original color ).

Maybe later ones got that plated look ?

Interesting.

Would be great for the hobby to get some further input on this from those who've performed AFM restorations and crossed this bridge (to avoid reinventing the wheel).

Will add a searchable tag momentarily to assist those facing this same issue in the future.

I had my VUK played in black nickel and the results were great!
