The latches (374's) between G10 and the WPC ASIC are usually cause of the fault you describe. I'd replace those. If someone shorted coil voltage to the switch matrix, they can be fried as well.

Glad you got it sorted out! Sorry I didn't reply to the question sooner. The latches are the common fault when the security chip doesn't get recognized.
