NBA Fastbreak
Bally, 1997Fastbreak WPC-95. No display during the game and "TESTING..." does not show up in boot
either...but...diagnostics, bookeeping etc shows on display as it should...it's been a long road with this game..first I had all kinds of sound errors...buddy checked out all the sound roms and I replaced those that were corrupt, one bong on start-up so sound is fine now.
Ideas?

Gonna chime in for Jason here...Hello Chris! The display works in all tests. It just doesn't work in play...at all...blank.
I am going to take some ribbons over as his might be wonky. Anything else you can think of, chime in!
In the meantime this newbie talked me into helping him pick up a game this morning...a great way to have part of the thrill of buying a new-to-you game is find a buddy who needs a hand...you share in all the fun but don't have to find room or cash for the pin!

If you guys haven't already, try a factory reset from the utilities menu. Still no love? Try changing the language to German or French in standard settings and see if that does anything. Could be a corrupt game ROM.
Tried resetting to factory default and changing language to German. I also replaced both the game and sound roms to the latest version from thatpinballplace. I tried swapping the security chip, DMD and ribbon cables from my world cup soccer and still broken... The game plays plays and sounds work. Just missing game graphics. All the voltages appear to be fine both in test and in game.
