Hey folks-

My BSD is causing me grief. When the ball goes into the mist multiball hole up top, into the trough system, and then heads to the VUK on the left side of the game. And there it sits, for a good 5-10 seconds before spitting out. Opto in the VUK tests perfectly and quickly in switch test, and I've replaced the coil in the VUK. Also, it isn't like a ball search which finally kicks it out: the VUK is the only coil that fires. Weird.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Well, turns out I'm an idiot. At least partially. The VUK has a small cut out for the wireform to fit on the rear edge. My wireform wasn't sitting perfectly in, but rather on top, which I guess explains why the ball wasn't ejecting initially (probably not quite reaching the plane of the opto). Doesn't explain why it would kick out the ball rather than do a full search, but whatever...it's working now. Thanks for the advice. When in doubt, keep looking.
