On my TSPP, I'm having an issue where when the first ball is locked in the couch, it is fine. However, when the next two balls are locked, the first ball starts dropping too far into the lock and doesn't contact the switch for the first ball being locked and the game goes into ball search. This issue used to be pretty rare but has now become almost constant. Anyone else run into this? I'm wondering if the spring in the plunger that releases the balls has become too loose?

I had this issue on my game. My solution falls into the category of "hack", but I just took a piece of foam tape and put it on the endstop, and haven't run into the issue since. But if anyone has a better solution, I would be interested as well.

The couch bracket bending after a while is a common problem on these, and may be the issue. Check to see if the end is bent at an angle or not like the thread here. If so, I'd order a new one here:

Hope that does it.

I bought this part a while ago, but when I got it all apart, it looked to me like it was already installed from the factory. BTW, if OP needs this piece, I can send it since it looks like I don't need it, just PM if interested.

I took a look and the bracket was bent, causing the issue. I bent it back and I'll pick up a reinforcement on my next order. Thanks for all the help.
