What's up with that: some micro switch or opto?
I looked at T-1 and there are no false closures.
Ran a ball through the Left Loop in T-1, and the top micro switch (Left Ramp Made #41) is open, and closes as it should.
TIA!

Quoted from markmon:Go to switch edge test and roll the ball through the left orbit. It should trigger the switch on the far upper left. I believe that's the one that would tell the magnet the ball is coming. The fact that the right loop triggers the magnet rules out anything related to the magnet itself. I think switch 43 is the one you want to test and verify.
Sorry, misspoke earlier when I said Switch 41 works fine; meant to say Switch 43 (Left Loop) is open in T-1 and functions as it should (with a ball test).
Just thought I'd post the actual switch number and resolution (in case anyone searches for this topic in the future).
Problem was with Switch #44 (micro); thing that threw me for a loop was the switch registered just fine in T-1 by rolling a ball through the Left Loop.
Came to the conclusion the switch must be flaky at speed; so moved the blade back to the rear nubs--and with the resulting smaller closure--all is now well.
Thanks.
