Go to switch edge test and roll the ball through the left orbit. It should trigger the switch on the far upper left. I believe that's the one that would tell the magnet the ball is coming. The fact that the right loop triggers the magnet rules out anything related to the magnet itself. I think switch 43 is the one you want to test and verify.
