Stern, 2003Hey gang-
I have a TSPP that the upper right flipper on the main playfield went out. Checked some previous posts and the culprit seemed to be likely a blown transistor. Changed it out with a new one, and the flipper worked. Next day, wife plays game, and now both the main playfield upper right flipper is out and the right upper playfield flipper is out. Hmm. Any ideas?

Sometimes a bad diode on a coil takes out your transistor. You need to replace both or you'll get into a situation where one bad component takes out the other. Pinwiki has details.

Agreed. There must have been a reason the transistor blew in the first place. The transistor failing by itself is just one possibility of a number.
Page 106 in your manual will give you some helpful information. http://ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=4674
It's worth checking the flipper fuses, but if they are blown you'll still need to figure out why they blew.
Thanks for the help from everyone: tracked it down to the flipper switch in the cabinet. Turns out the flipper button that made contact with the first section of the switch (lower flipper) didn't make contact with the second section (upper flipper and mini playfield flipper). Page 106 indeed did help, especially the following section:
"RIGHT FLIPPER BUTTON ONLY: This switch is Double-sided. Pressing halfway down operates the Lower Right Flipper; pressing full down operates all 3 right flippers simultaneously."
