Months ago I purchased a TAF in boxes. Not a single screw was attached. After months of restoration, I am finally getting everything up and running.
In testing out my flippers, I realized that my EOS switches for the Left and Right Upper flipper are reversed. So the RIGHT upper flipper activates the LEFT UPPER EOS, while the LEFT Upper flipper activates the RIGHT upper EOS.
From that manual, the Upper Left Flipper EOS wire is Black-Gray. The Upper Right Flipper EOS wire is Black-Violet. When I look under the playfield, indeed I have them reversed. Simple issue to fix, right - just swap Black-Gray with the Black-Violet.
But..... I cannot find a way to do this. The way the wiring harnesses are put together, I could never get the harness that holds Black-Violet over to the other side, and vise versa. i.e. The Black-GRAY (Which belongs on left side EOS) harness holds all of the wires for many other switches on the RIGHT side of the playfield!
Anyone ever seen something like this before?
.... my fix is going to be to swap the 2 wires in the header which connects to the flipper board, but I am trying to be a purist!
Thanks!
