Do you ever get bored with tech support. Or so many calls you can't keep up ?

No. Never boring. Always an adventure. There is something very satisfying when a customer's last response is "Thanks, that worked". You know they can enjoy their game again.
Both companies I help have good products. So tech contacts are not overwhelming. Calls do go up when a new title ships. Many first time NIB buyers and they can be a little careful over the tiniest things. I try and reassure them and let them know that no matter how small an issue might seem, I'll try and help them.
I never leave things go to the next day. I'm on noon to midnight CST. So when I start I might have a little catching up to do. And late in my day things slow down as people start turning off the games and going to bed. So I always have more day than people needing help.
