To answer your second question the castle should run in motor test.
On the game I used to have I played around with the relay with the game on to see if I could manually start the castle. I was able to see how the relay wasn’t hitting just right. Took tweaking. Can you start it by manually pushing the relay? (Careful where you put your hands under there!)
Apologies I haven’t been on here to read your reply. I’d post in another tech forum to see how to test a relay properly. I think you’ve got it down but I don’t want to give you bad info. I just know I could push my relay in and activate the castle all day long and it showed me the relay switch thing wasn’t locking in correctly.
