I've got a SB-300 sound board and all the sounds work but the overall sound is muddy. Almost sounds like a bad speaker. I know the problem is on the sound board as I have another SB-300 that works fine in this pin.
I replaced the caps but that didn't make it any better. I started checking resistors with my meter and the first resistor I checked was the 2ohm 1watt resistor at R1. It was measuring over 54ohms. I replaced this resistor but no change. I went thru the rest of the resistors and checked VR1 (1N758) but everything looks good.
Any ideas what would be causing this?
