Bally, 1996The spring was broken when I bought it so I don’t know exactly how it should be oriented. Do I have the NEW spring installed right? I assume the purpose is to to “spring” the lid closed and to keep the lid from banging on the side of the cabinet. If so, the way I have it installed isn’t preventing the cabinet banging. Thanks.
