I had a similar issue on my Uncle's DE SW. I ended up repinning the headers and connectors for the power inputs, issue has gone away.
The one issue I can't combat however is the DMD resetting. Like the audio, the DMD randomly cuts out and resets. It displays the rom info when it resets, so its probably a display driver issue. Connectors didn't remedy this one... maybe a low 5v issue on my machine and the OP's machine?

Now that I think about it, I think I just did the DMD plugs (psu is a rottondog, and the "cube" connector was already redone). I'll double check the other ones though!
