I have searched the forum on how to correctly test an transformer. What I do know is that you can not use earth ground for testing.

What I don't know is what lugs to touch to get the correct voltage read out. Would someone care to dumb this down in a step by step procedure? I'm sure that my transformer is in working order, but I cant get myself to move on with other repairs until I can "check" this off on my "it's working" list.

Thanks for any help

Sorry it took me a bit to get back to work on the machine.
I tagged the post with with my game type, didn't know Í had to do it all the time.

jeffc, Thanks for your post. It was very helpful. And thank you guys for chiming in.

Took me a bit to figure out the pin out of the connecting plugs (6P1/6J1) to the transformer (6T1), but it is correct. Once I understood the naming, the jumper configuration, and how to measure the lugs correctly, I was able to see or understand the drawing.

It seems that the transformer is good from the numbers!

In Lugs:
1&2 109.6v
3&4 13.68v
5&6 109.2v
7&8 13.67v

Out Lugs:
11&12 15.94v
13&14 30.27v
15&18 9.86v
16&18 9.86v
17&19 7.55v
