Hi,

I have just purchased a Pharaoh, and it looks great.
The old owner, couldnt get it to work, so now its my turn.

The game is working, all the coil test, sound test and lamp tests.
But i can`t seem to get a game started. This is my first System 7, so this is new to me.
I have set the credits in menu number 18 to 00 to make it freeplay, but it won`t react.

Any halpful pointers would be great!

Hi all!

Thank you for helpful pointers!

I just love pinside!
I just want to try to get it up before i go into the board repair. I have also done switch tests, and none of them are locked on.
So basically, everything works except that i cant start a game.
The only coil that is not working is the coil on the coin door lockout.
We are in the process of disabling that right now.

I have installed the Bridge Board:

any more pointers on how to just start a game?

Sorry for the late reply, and thank you for all the helpful pointers!
Everything worked out great, and the game plays like a charm!
I have never played the game before, and after the first game I just new that it is an awsome game.

The correct solution was, as I have read so many times, that the switches in the through is not registering. I did the rookie mistake of pressing down the switches, "yeah, this works!" But when there was a ball there, the switch would not register due to misalignment.
After some tweaking, party at the pharaoh's tomb!

When I started it up on day to it worked right away, so I didn't have to do the coin door on off 2 times.

The only thing left now is that some of the display segments, the last digit on 3 of the displays are flaky. Guess this is the IDC.
And the back glass is misaligned to the displays, but I guess that is just poor craftsmanship.

Thanks for all the help!
