Have a LW3 ads the fire Uzi flasher nor shooter lane plastic flasher work in game or test

Not locked on just not working

All others work perfectly

I know its a TIP 102 with its pretty driver 2N4401 but I can't find in manual what the transistor location

I think its Q24 on CPU but can anyone check to confirm

Thank you

Check for power at the bulb socket first.

sockets can fail...not as prone as early data east games it seems but they all go eventually. As grumpy says check for power and go from there.

#4 8 years ago

Okay

I will check at the sockets

And I'll follow up

Thanks

also check the bulbs. They can look good and still be bad. Use continuity test on your DMM

I have new bulbs coming in mail tomorrow

testing sockets and wires to those suspect flasher in a bit

#7 8 years ago

Okay

I put led bulbs in there still nothing

Went into back box reseated the connection to the board and there alive and well

Weird how all but those Bulbs were out

Maybe a dirty pin

Thank you all again

The Polarity may by reversed in the wiring....Happens in Data East, Gottlieb, late model Sterns, and AC/DC.

Try some clips off of a 12V flasher that is firing an Incandescent, and try both positions to test.

If so, the solution is either different bulbs, or reversing your wires, and resoldering them,
