On two occasions I've reached Destroy The Ring, completed all the shots - I go to make the final shot and there's NO response. Repeated hits to the ring, and nothing; passes right through the ring, never completes. Yesterday I had the best game to date going - made all the required DTR shots in record time, but then nothing. I must have hit the ring 7 times but these shot just would not register. I shut the game off and ranted through the house for the next few minutes.

Ideas appreciated.

I recall seeing a post that the one switch in the ring is used only for DTR, so maybe that's it. My spinner has been working reliably. I did have a funny/scary moment when I hit it so hard during one of the multiballs that the spinner flew right off the hinges and ended up mid playfield.

...and there you have it. My fix for the flying spinner incident caused the problem. When I put the spinner back on I put the lead under the switch reed instead of above it. Fixed now, the switch registers. Ring switch was fine.
