I just got a Monopoly and I also find the spinning flipper to be loud. Its kinda like a grinding noise however it works just fine. I also would like to know if this is normal or if the transmission of the flipper is just getting old. If replacing the part (500-6486-00) which is nearly $130 will resolve the noise then it would be worth it but of course if this is normal that would be a waste.
