The flipper was weak on my Indy so I installed a new plunger and replaced the flipper coil because the old sleeve was stuck in the coil. It worked great for about 5 games and suddenly stopped working. The coil tested good and I even put the old one back in and still does not work. It's the bottom right flipper and the upper one works so its not the button. Any ideas where to look next?

sounds like your opto might be bad on the board at the flipper. try moving the board to the other flipper to see if the problem follows and corrects on the problem side.

It was the fuse which I had checked by using a different fuse but it came out of a box of fuses I have. Must have been bad. Now I have to figure out why the fuse blew. When I put in a new plunger, it was a data east one. Could this cause the fuse to blow 5 or 10 games later?
