After moving a Firepower, the game will boot up and go into attract mode, but won't start a game. I suspect a problem with the MPU because the two LEDs on the boards are no longer lit. If I use the diagnostic buttons, both LEDs come on, so I know they didn't burn out.
The board has undergone a lot of bullet proofing, but this symptom is new to me. Is it time for the rottendog board? New roms?
Very strange, those leds were always solid on before the game was moved....
You might be on to something with the trough switches.
