Transformers are one tough mother. I once pulled one out a field that I left out for over 5 frigid New England winters and fired it right up in a taxi (true story).
However, I’m confused by what’s going on with system 80b transformers, but perhaps someone can clue me in.
I have a genesis I’m working on, and I noticed 4.9 volts. I have a steady +5 at the power supply, so what are the transformer volt used for?
I wanted to cross check that the volts were correct with my bounty hunter and accidental slipped and touched the 40 the one next to it that clearly wasn’t 40, a small spark happened and now there is no 40....
Is there a way to get the 40 back? Did I really just brick the transformer that easily? And what are the significances of these volts like the 4.9 on genesis. Bounty hunters read 5.2
Thanks
