Hey folks, I recently just purchased a CFTBL and I don't like the pivot point where the flippers rotate. The flippers are just a bit too low. I don't mean rotated too much, I mean the rotation point is a bit too low. Is there a little leeway in this kind of thing? Can I correct it? Tips? I'd say, I'd want to move it up (as in toward the back of the playfield) about 1/4 inch.

Loosen nut on pawl, turn flipper, retighten.

i'm happy with the angle of the flippers already. What you are suggesting will only change their rotation, correct? I want to change the pivot point that it rotates on to be slighly further up.

Longer plunger.

aha, I do have a flipper rebuild kit here. Perhaps that's what's needed to get this one at the spot. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can not change the 'pivot point" as that is a hole drilled through the playfield with a plastic bushing through it. There is no adjustment slop/slot to move that. All you can change is the angle of the dangle.

Hmm, I don't remember there being a plastic bushing. I'll have to look again. Perhaps that is the issue.

It will look like this..

If there isn't you've got a problem

Are you saying the flippers are too low in relation to the playfield? If that's the case follow Lloyds directions and when you've loosened the flipper, raise the flipper pawl before tightening again.
