Tech help: Blown Capacitor?

My wild fyre sound stopped working. Does this look like a blown capacitor? It feels like hot glue. Not sure why it would be on the sound board.

Hot melt glue.
Often used on taller caps to keep them from breaking off due to vibrations.

yes that is glue. They do that for the big caps so over time they do not get loose or get crack solder joints. Most large Caps are filter caps so probably not the problem. Only way to test is with a ESR meter. Look for raised heads on the smaller caps or leaking (usually brownish) liquid from the other CAPS.

First step would be to check connectors and the test point voltages. See below.

I'd already checked all the voltages. They are all spot on. I'm working on checking the connectors now.

The connectors are flaky, as wiggling them gets the sound going. Will reflow them and see if that cleans it all up.
