Working on a solid state gottlieb system 1 Pinball (joker poker). I need a photo of the a1-j6 connector on the cpu board. I have some wires out. Thanks

#2 6 years ago

The manual has pages that list each connector and their wire colors.

Hmm. I don't have a purple color at pin 7. Does that mean omit pin 7?

#4 6 years ago

According to the chart, the only empty pin is #9.

Do you have the correct number of wires for the connector?

#5 6 years ago

Yes. This is for a joker poker.

I was asking if you had all 8 wires, or if one was missing.

So, if you have all 8 wires, are all the colors listed in the chart there? Are the wires jumbled up in the connector, or are they all in the correct spots?

I'm missing pin #7 (purple). The wire doesn't exist. The rest of the colors I have.

It looks like that one comes from the tilt panel in the cabinet. Can you see if it's there and trace it back?

#9 6 years ago

I'll check it. Thanks.

Here's a picture that includes that connector and it's from my Joker Poker. Pm if you need more pics or clarification.

Based on this pic, it looks like Pin#7 (purple) does not have a wire correct?

Correct.

But based on Forceflow comment, I will look to see if the purple wire is still there.

#13 6 years ago

Purple wire is not there. I checked all the way down to the tilt panel as suggested. It doesn't exist.

#14 6 years ago

Well, then despite what appears in the manual, it might have been left out for this game.

#15 6 years ago

Yes, I think it most likely was. Thanks.
