I have a Gottlieb Sys 80b Diamond Lady that boots and goes into attract mode but no switches work including the coin switches, etc. So I'm unable to start a game. I am able to hit the test button and it runs through the various tests but for switch test it shows all switches open but it does not detect any switches if I manually activate them

This all started when I was playing a game, all of a sudden mid game the game started acting crazy,. A ton of switches and points were being activated on their own. After about 15 seconds of this I shut the game off. When I tried to turn the game on it powered on, reset all the drops, and went into attract mode but would not start a game or register any switches. I did do the ground mods prior to all of this happening

I checked voltage going into the mpu and it wasn't reading reliably. I ended up repairing the power supply as it appeared the .1uf capacitor c1 had blown mid game. I replaced it and Power supply is now giving a steady 5.1 volts and the game boots and goes into attract mode but I still have no switches. Any idea of what I should check next? My guess is that one of the switch matrix chips on the mpu fried. Also, this is a replacement Swemmer board which has different schematics than the stock board. Thank you in advance for your help!

Also before all of this started I had issues with a few of the switches that wouldn't register. 3 center bank drop targets and my right slingshot. I'm not sure if that would be a connector issue or possibly an issue with the under playfield diode boards possibly?

Freds boards are mostly using the same chips as the factory boards so they are still vulnerable to the same sorts of problems. Could be a RIOT chip I've had a few just up and die over the last few months. Or one of the switch matrix chips went bad but I have had more problems with riots overall.
Do you have spare riot chips or the riot chip tester? If not try swapping the switch matrix riot with another and see if the problems change.

I don't have any spare riots at the moment but I'll try swapping them to see if the problem moves. At least with the Swemmer the chips are socketed so it will be easy to swap. Thanks!
