Hi.

My Atlantis recently started having issues with scoring 1,000 points and 3,000 points.

When the ball rolls over a lit roll over switch, it should score 3,000 points and advance the bagatelle number.

The game will advance the bagatelle number, but it will not Score the points.

Once you have advanced all bagatelle values, the special light is lit. The left outlane should score 1,000 points or award the special. It does score 1,000 points.

I have confirmed that manually activating the 1,000 pt relay scores 1,000 points.

I have also confirmed that scoring the 5,000 point drop target combo will score the 5,000 points.

I have checked the E relay switch contacts and all looks clean and it is properly gapped.

So does anyone have a suggestion as to what to try next?

Solution:
The schematic shows that motor switch 4C and 1B are in sequence before the L (1,000 pt relay).

I tested the 1B switch using alligator clips. The multicolored switch fired when jumpered to the 25 Volt fuse. The blue white switch did not.

I cleaned the switch contact with a file and then tested again. Success!!

So now it scores as it should.
