Going to look at a CV local. Got some video of an issue on it, that I think I can diagnose with the manual schematics and the video, but I haven't ever worked on a CV Ringmaster assembly. Just looking for confirmation of what I suspect is wrong......
Upon startup, the Ringmaster goes into test and the motor turns and he raises up about two inches, then just drops back under the PF. It does this seven or eight times, always raising to the same spot and then just letting him drop back down. Not reverse motor drop, just bottom falling out drop. It then reports that the Motor Drive test passed, but Positions Switches test failed. I see there are 3 position switches on the assembly. Obviously there is a "Down" position switch, then a middle position where the head is raised, then a top position switch when the whole neck/spring assembly is raised out. If the top or middle position switch was bad, it wouldn't know unless it raised and tested higher than the couple of inches it is raising now (the head isn't coming close to the "middle" raised position). So, would this then mean that the bottom position switch is likely bad, and it doesn't know where the head is during the test, at all?
