When I turn the machine on 9/10 times the jump rope motor won't initialise and keeps spinning fast.
Going into the menu and leave or turn the machine off and on it will initialise correctly and works great.
I also went in the test menu when it did not initialise and the test works great.
Also when it did initialise, turning the machine off for say 1 minute and turn it back on will not result in the motor not initialising again.
When you let it off for a day and turning it back on, will result in the 9/10 times it won't initialise.
Were could I start searching?
Help is appreciated.
Same thing happening with my CP. I'm not great at diag but looks like this has stumped even veteran pinball fixers. Any recommendations
on which items I should start with on this list that schudel5 posted (after factory reset):
Factory reset
New security chip
New processor chip
ULN2803A at u20 on CPU
Changed batteries
Different ribbon cables
Different CPU
Different power driver board
Changed optos on jump rope ball detection
Changed jump rope position sensor opto
Changed diodes and 2n3904 on position sensor board
Changed all Lm339s on 16 opto board
