Machine: Bride of Pinbot, The
Williams, 1991During a game the machine was turning back "I'm losing it..." and only got half way from stage 3 (almost human) to stage 2 (empty eyes). With the face at 45 degrees I turned the machine off and turned it back on. It is now starting at stage 3 instead of stage 1 (empty mouth). Is there a safe way to turn the face back to stage 1 without me breaking anything? I thought I would ask here first before I got adventurous!

Seemed to do the trick. Did a bunch of revolutions in the factory test, but then settled on face #1 and played two games fine (with once game to metamorphosis: face 4). I will do more testing since the problem occurred when it turned back from face 3 to face 2. Thanks again!
If it continues to display the incorrect face it means you have dry solder on the relay. I believe it's situated under the pf close to the head motor.
Reflow solder over the joints and you will be fixed. The head calibration should only need to be done following a factory reset/battery removal.
