Looking for advice on what others have used for the shield inserts on STTNG. I am thinking the Flex super brights in green from cointaker may be a good match. Please let me know what you have used that worked well, thanks!!

Flex green supers lit up the inserts well, but were overpowering IMO. They also seemed to do poorly with the shield dimming effect. I went back to incandescents but am interested to hear if anything else works well.
That is a concern, I tried once before and the dimming effect was poor, that's why I left them incandescent. Anyone had good success with another LED??
Guys, you have to try this! I used CT Premium frosted BLUE! Wow, it makes the shields look so sweet....I left regular flashers so you get a color change effect. They're a great blue color normally, and then green when flashing ("white" incandescent flasher thru the green insert). Try it, let me know what you think!
We just added CYAN / Blue Green color. I think it might be a great match for the shields.

I dunno, I turned it off in the settings. I'll check it out later.
Interesting thread. I've tried various LEDs as well but do not want to turn on dimming. No LED has looked good for the shields in my opinion. Definitely need the tech to catch up in LEDs to support the variable voltage. Even if it pushes the bulbs to $5 each, the limited applications would be ok to spend the $$.
