Bally, 1978Our favorite redhead has a problem. The display for the ball count and credits is not working during game play. If you do a lamp test, the display works fine, but will not display during actual game play.
No idea where to even start troubleshooting this problem. I'd welcome advice from the techs on the forum. Thanks so much!!

Reflow the solder under all the display unit header pins.
Then swap C/BIP unit with Player 2 unit. Does problem follow display or stay with C/BIP position?
Open door and press little red button in 2 second intervals until displays start counting numbers. C/BIP still dark?

Is the Match number displayed at the end of the game?
If DIP 20 is set correctly, try zeroing out the entire RAM, by going through each audit, and pressing the switch on the MPU for each audit to zero it.
