On our revitalized Bally Frontier, the eject from the bonus collect saucer is not strong enough to consistently push the ball upwards and above the ABC lanes. Is there a way to strenthen the coil or can someone suggest a better coil for that spot?

I believe that an AO-27-1300 is what is currently in place.

Is the kicker hitting the ball dead center, or giving it a glancing blow ?

This type problem is almost always mechanical in nature.

Does it move smoothly manually?

It the plunger tip mushroomed?

It the sleeve worn?

Is the proper spring installed?

It is hitting EXACTLY in the center of the ball?

Is the correct coil installed?

A common problem is the little triangular 'ears' that hold the ball in alignment are either bent over or broken off.

Turns out that one of the coil wires was barley soldered onto one of the lugs, causing it to be under powered.

Thanks for the suggestions, all, I will keep them in mind in the future.
