Haven't played my Paragon in a little while and last time I did all worked fine. Fire it up today and am getting some erratic behavior.

Upon ball be ejected into the shooter lane it also first the replay knocker
Top Right Outkick hole fires left slingshot
Top Left Outkick holee fires fires Center Pop Bumper
Top Left Pop Bumper fires right Slingshot
Top Right Pop Bumper and Bottom Left Pop Bumper dont fire at all but does score

Appears all is scoring okay just coils are jacked up!

Based on the wrong solenoid order you're getting, check the terminations on each end of the orange-black wire that goes from MPU J4 pin 2 to the Solenoid Driver Board at J4 pin 4. Re-terminate where bad.

Rebuild J4 on both MPU and SDB.

Thanks for the direction....I will be looking at this tomorrow and report back!

Are your solenoid driver board connectors properly keyed?
Sounds like you have a cable wrong or the J4 cable on the SD board is off or needs to be reflowed.

So I re-flowed the solder on J4 on the SD to no avail. One thing to mention that I forgot is the MPU is an earlier Alltek ver. J MPU

Holy schnizzle Quench I somehow missed your post! So I looked at this and wouldn't you know the termination on the MPU was broke. I fixed it and game is still having some issues. At this time I quit working on it so I will look at it more tomorrow and post back what symptoms the patient is having....... THANKS for the post!

Someone with a paragon mind attaching a picture of the wiring for the J4 connectors to the MPU and Driver board for a schematically challenged person??

Post similar photos of the other connectors on the SD board.

Sounds dumb, but make sure your dip switches on the mpu are set to paragon. I bought a future spa that was doing the same type of thing and the dip switches were set for a different game.

Yeah that sounds dumb as the machine was working but when I went back to play it, it wasn't. I never went in to the back box so I never checked the dip switches....... low and behold it was one dip switch. How it happened I have no idea but it did! Thanks!
