Had the Girl Scout Troop in Starport to discuss mechanical aspects of a Pinball machine. What a great time. We had their attention for a long while and they were genuinely interested in the interactive seminar. I think this is a great way to keep the interest in both Pinball and all things mechanical. All of our Troop earned their badges. How cool!

That’s outstanding! Great job!

What's you teach and how did you do it? Details!

That’s really cool. You should have the girls put together a Pinbox 3000 from the Cardboard Institute. It teaches you about design, game theory and shot geometry. They’re really cool and super fun to play. My daughter bought me one and I’m obsessed with it.

We learned about motors and how gears work. About the simple and complex machines. Also taught them how to play pinball, rules and of course I had a little fun with the phantom flip. They were blown away when it started Frank Multiball without anyone touching the game.

That would be really cool. I'll have to call the troop leader and see if it applies to a badge for the girls. Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what badge did they earn?
