Answer me this... should I order one? Like no seriously... I've been agonizing over spending the 10 grand on my first machine for a year. And especially a machine I haven't played in person. I really really want to pull the trigger. It would really tie the room together but is it 10 grand cool?

Let's put it this way. How big a Lebowski fan are you? That's really what it comes down to. I'm a huge Lebowski/Coen fan...I was daydreaming about somehow retheming something into a custom Lebowski machine...I wouldn't even know where to start - and how much time and money would it cost? So, they way I see it - I'm paying them to make me my dream machine, and they've done way better than I could ever do.
Yes I was definitely watching the pre-order and its a bummer missing out of the 8500 price. Well $8500 + $500 shipping if I recall correctly. Any idea when you think you'll be receiving yours? CoinTaker is saying December for new orders. And have you played in it person anywhere? I'm also in LA.

I was under the impression December would be realistic but perhaps you're right since they were only just testing #16 and #17. Its only $1000 down to order from CoinTaker. I'm probably going to do it soon but it would be nice having a realistic expectation of when I'll receive it. I'm trying to pickup a used 90's machine now and see how I feel about dropping 3x as much on TBL.
Not sure if this matters but I guess NIB to me is important because I don't think I'd ever sell the TBL. There's a lot of machines Id like to own and will totally get into trading eventually but that's one I feel I'll never part with being such a fan of the film... or am I making a newbie mistake thinking that way?
