Taxi
Williams, 1988I’m not very knowledgable with electronic stuff like this so please bare with me. Just picked up a Taxi. GI light but that’s it. No display. No inserts, nothing. None of the 3 diagnostic LEDs light. Obviously no power getting to the board. I did all I really know how to do. Checked the fuses and reseated the connectors.
Any suggestions of what to do next would be really appreciated.
Suggestions of a good pinball repair guy in the Washington DC area also appreciated.

Check if your knocker coil is seized/shorted out in the upper left part of the backbox. I was having same issue and that was the problem, you can just disconnect it to see.
