Taxis pop bumpers do have both a resistor and a diode on the switch. I don’t own the game anymore so I only have 1 picture of 1 pop showing it but it’s there. Can’t remember if this one is done correctly or not.

Edit: I see it now. He has a diode in place of a resistor.
