Hi,

This is my first post here on pinside, so hello all.

I am changing my CPU U26 & U27 chips to Marylin (wife request) and I found a dangling connector. The cable is connected on one end to J20 Aux Connector on the Interconnect board. For the life of me I can't find the connection point for the loose end. Can anyone tell me where this cable belongs, or is it some sort of spare and I just never noticed it before.

many thanks

I'm not at my game right now, but schematics show J20 not used, and it mirrors connections found at J14 for the lamps. Perhaps you just have a different harness installed.

I would agree, if the game works fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

If something isn't working, that would be a good indicator perhaps of where the wiring goes.

J20 goes to the "Joyride Scores" lamp board below the displays.

Interesting. I suppose it could be an error in the manual, or perhaps some games are wired a little differently? I'll have to try to remember to take a look at mine later

100% correct. I have it as well. Just missing from the manual.
