I no longer have a Taxi, but reading your post there is some things questionable to sort out.

Quoted from Evets:

In the Taxi ops manual, it says the power wire to the Spinout Kickbig should be Vio-Blk, not the Vio-Yel it currently is.

The 25V supply power wire to the spinout coil is brown, not violet and a stripe. Keep in mind that the violet wires with a colored stripe are the trigger wires that come from the cpu control. Violet/Yellow is a trigger wire for the 3-bank drop reset coil (50V). The first thing I would ask, is what voltage do you measure on the spinout kickbig coil before the fuse blows?... if you can even get a chance to measure it before the fuse blows.

Hopefully someone chimes in with photo for you as well.

First, it's probably NOT a short. A direct short on power is going to open a fuse almost immediately, not in 20 or 30 seconds. Does the fuse blow after powering on the game, or can it sit in attract mode not blowing a fuse? A direct short will also be measured as very low ohms between power and ground with the game off.

If you suspect a problem with the spinout coil, can you disconnect that coil and everything else works? If we are able to get a grasp on your symptoms and systematically troubleshoot this problem, we should be able to track this down. Have you checked all the coil diodes? A cracked/broken/missing/backwards coil diode can be a cause - if the fuse is blowing after a coil is activated)

The diagram is on IPDP.com, look for the paginated schematics pdf on the Taxi page. Also, don't start a new thread. Let us all work from this one to not cloud up the process.
