Our Taxi, serial number 161787, has the plastic mounted to the wireform with 2 screws. This issue with this location is the plastic can catch on the siderail when raising/lowering the playfield and break off the 'taxi sign' on the top of that plastic. The new plastic sets are a little more flexible which could solve the problem. I'm getting ready for a Taxi restoration and am glad to see an alternate method for mounting this plastic. Thanks for posting the picture Kerry.

My CPR Taxi glass lacks the fine detail of the translite. It’s really noticeable in Marilyn’s hair. Debating on whether to install the new glass or the original translite.

I believe the color difference is from the Mylar. You need to determine if the risk of Mylar removal is worth having uniform colors across the playfield.

Quoted from pinballinreno:

Yeah too bad that the early adopters had to go thru this.
However thanks to everyone's early criticism changes were made that benefit us all.
My Glass is crisp, vibrant and near perfect.
Its everything I wanted in a backbox glass. Plus its offered in a Marilyn type that matches my playfield and ROM's

I have one of the early mirrored versions and am still disappointed. What a waste of money. It’s sitting unused in the shipping box, as it lacks the detail of the translite. That’s the last dollar that I’ll send to CPR…
