WTB - Departure ramp and the middle plastic piece called Carry Passengers plastic. PM if you have one or both of these.. Thanks Guys!
Quoted from bballfan:Ask this guy on ebay if he has more.

Yeah that's the one I am looking for.. Still looking
Thanks Skypilot, solder them back on and it works great. Alright just curious what flipper coils everyone uses for Taxi. I just rebuilt the flippers and the flippers are still a little weak. I just ordered the blue coils for it on Marco thought maybe it would help in hitting the ramp shots better.. Any thoughts guys?
Quoted from wayout440:I've got the standard FL11630 "red" coils in mine and have no trouble pounding the ramps.

It might be some other problem...
- Perhaps a problem with power delivery? I have a PinScore power supply in mine...all my coils are obscenely strong...the flippers, pops, and the Drac kickback. This is one of my fastest games.
- Return springs too strong? should be just strong enough to pull the flipper back to its rest positon.
- When you rebuild did you change all the parts? bushings are often cracked or broken and often don't come in kits and so might be overlooked.
- incline set too steep?
Yeah I replaced everything with a rebuild kit I ordered from Marco. One of the bushings was cracked and I replace it too. How many volts should be powering each coil? Return springs seem fine not too strong. The only thing I didn't replace was the flipper button leaf switches. I see a little bit of a spark which could be losing some power there.. Thanks for the reply Wayout440
Quoted from patrickvc:Huo documentation? This will help me prove a point that even Huo games have some insert wear
No documentation but I've seen a lot of Taxis and this one is clearly home use only. Guy was 87 years old who I bought it from and him and his wife bought it back in 1988. Yes it does have a little bit insert wear and ball swirls, but it's still a very nice machine
Yeah I was just trying out different colors. I like how my game of thrones pin matches the shield color to the shot so I thought why not try it out on Taxi.. Marylin(Lola) just doesn't look right in blue.
Anyone have an old Taxi topper sitting around that they want to sell? PM thanks!
Added over 6 years ago: Found the topper..
Quoted from bicyclenut:I picked up another Taxi today! This one is a Marilyn. $25 deal of the year! Now I have both

I’ll give you $50 plus shipping on it.. lol
Great pick up!
Looking for a Taxi display. Pm if you have one that's working you want to sell..
Added over 4 years ago:bought a new one.
Anyone know where I can find a new replace drop target board at? My Pinbot drops aren't working correctly on right side and I believe the opts are bad on the board.
Plus on my dracula VUK the ball slings out onto the ramp and sometimes shoots over it and hits the glass. Is there suppose to be a plastic covering the ramp in this area to prevent the ball from flying off the ramp? There's a plastic cover but on the far right side of the ramp.
Quoted from JeffZee:If none of the targets work it may be a power problem. I had problems with the same board on both Taxi and Space Station. It was as simple as replacing the power connector. I guess the old connectors loosened up because they're only held by a few pins.

Okay thanks I'll reflow solder here and make a new connector and hopefully that will fix the issue..
Here's a weird issue I am having too. One of the top roller over switches isn't registering during gameplay but works fine in switch test mode..
Quoted from Jmckune:I assume you know better, but are you testing with your finger or the ball?
I had it in switch test modeand tested with my finger to make sure and during gameplay did the samething..
Quoted from Jmckune:Hmm if you’re testing with finger in both game and test then idk. Is there any apparent diodes or wires that are backwards? Can cause some weird issues if the matrix is messed with.
Yeah very strange, works in test mode but not during regular gameplay..
Quoted from FLASHBALL:Does the rollover lane make any noise in gameplay? I'd start by cleaning the switch contacts and pulling the rollover wire up just a bit so it has a little more travel when the ball rolls over it.
I like to pull the switch out and clean them good with a clean crisp dollar bill. It has just enough texture to clean well without being abrasive and scratching off the plating. I assume you're talking about one of the CAB lanes? Do the other two make the noise and light up? I would think it's much more likely to be intermittent and coincidentally working in switch test. I dont understand why it would work in test but not gameplay. Definitely odd.
Yeah my plan is to replace the cab switch. I agree it doesn’t make sense that it would work during switch test mode and not during gameplay first time I have come across this too.
Working on my Taxi. During switch test mode coils and switches work for Marylin and Pinbot drop targets and roll over switch letter “B” works too..
During gameplay none of them work. Any ideas on where to start with this weird issue?
Hey guys I need a couple of pictures-
Wiring for roller over switches that spell CAB at top.
Wiring for both drop targets Pinbot and Marylin.
Thanks in advance!
Trying to figure out if these drops targets are wired wrong. Weird issue only Lola drop targets work, when Pinbot targets are up. but when Pinbot drops targets are down nothing works.. everything works in test mode..

Problem solved, I found that a light was touching a diode on the return lane switch causing a bunch of weird problems.
Alright have a question for you guys. I’ve owned several Taxi’s over the years half Marylin and half Lola. The playfield is different in which one says Marylin and the others say Lola, but the translights all have been the same with a dark brunette hair color on backglass. My question is why aren’t the orginals blonde on the translights?
Quoted from ChrisPINk25:There is a blonde one.

Yeah I’ve seen the reproduction ones, but I’ve never seen an orginal with blonde hair..
