Has anyone figured out a way to have the volume be able to be turned down lower? I have mine all the way down and it is still too loud (wife complaining). Was thinking of adding another pot but not sure which one to get or if there are other options. Thank you!

Just double checked my again, the background music will turn down was seems pretty far but the call outs are still rather load in comparison.

Quoted from wayout440:

Turned mine all the way down - both music and call outs are very low but not completely off.
Measured with J2 disconnected from the sound board (isolates the pot), between black and red wires on the terminal, you should have around 4.6K ohms with the pot all the way down and around 18 ohms with it all the way up. I assume that is probably a 5K ohm pot.

Just tested and got 4.1K down and 3.3 up so it looks very close.

Without the lock holding the mechanism, you should be able to just lift the back glass up as usual. If you look at the top center you will see a metal rod that sits on top of the back glass when locked, it just rotates up when unlocked.

I had an issue with mine where the plastic strip on the top of the back glass came off and was stuck above the lock rod. Ended up carefully breaking the plastic in two so the rod could go up.

Futurepinhead. Just a screw and washer goes there to hold the wire ramp.
