The partnr of the spacers is LCBS-L-5-01 or something similar. Unfortunatly quit hard to find in Europe unless you order 1000 pieces
While putting my taxi back together I noticed a wire had broke off my spin out ramp. Can anyone tell me if the yellow wire goes on the left or right of middle tab?
Look at the diode. It should go on the non-banded side. It looks like that would be the left side.
On mine, yellow is on the bottom or closest to the front of the game when installed.

yellow wire to the closer side of the center post you can see the wire fragment of the yellow wire still attached in your picture
Thanks guys. Got it all back together. Loving the game. 2 more questions. On the left ramp exit I'm pretty sure the previous owner tied both wire colors to one lug (bottom) of micro switch. which I assume is wrong. Does the green or the w/r go to the top lug? Also none of my flashers are working in game or in attract. They all function during coil test, is there something I should be looking at? Really want the taxi sign lit during game and attract.
Quoted from FLASHBALL:
Has anyone ever done anything to add extra light to the spinout bowl? I think it would look cool to brighten it up.
Yes, I did this on mine. I used a 5 inch red led strip with adhesive back and put it on the inside of the spinout bowl along the upper rim where the ball can't hit it. It's on the player side of the bowl so it can't be seen but it illuminates the entire bowl bright red and looks great.
New member of the club here. My machine has a number of issues to deal with but I have display issue that seem strange. The bottom row of the main display is totally blank. Top row works fine, the separate 7 digit display works fine. I have a Diner with a led replacement display so I swapped it into Taxi but I had nowhere to plug the 7 digit in.
Now I get info on all 4 player sections. Top row (1 and 2) look fine as before. Bottom row player 3 looks mostly fine but missing the occasional segment. Player 4, the display is working but all the inner extra segments are lit all the time make it impossible to see the main segments displaying words.
Swapped the display back into Diner and it looks normal again. Any idea how to figure out what is happening?
One other question, how do I get the Taxi topper to light during test? It does not seem to operate during solenoid test mode.
