I was under my Taxi playfield and noticed that 2 out of 3 bumpers had some disconnected, dangling blue capacitors (see picture) connected to the switch stack. My first instinct was to remove them, but I do not understand electronics very well yet and just want to make sure I should definitely remove them?

This Taxi seems to work really well but does have gremlin - sometimes when the ball is energetic in the bumpers the game registers a false tilt, mostly when the ball quickly hits all bumps ending in the top right (which does not have a dangling cap). Likely not related to the question ^ but I did want to mention it just in case..

You need to do a switch edge test and press the offending pop bumper skirt by hand. Does it register multiple unintended switches?

I don’t think the dangling caps are related to the problem. I believe those caps are optional.
