I have had a non working bell on my taxi for some time. The coil was bad and the clapper was broken. Replaced coil, cap, clapper, and turned the machine on. As soon as there is power to the machine the bell starts ringing.
I was 99% sure I've got the wiring right, and the switch is closed at rest. What's going on here?
